This picture is of my grandparents, taken around 1897, my father
Harold Steele was not yet born. He was the youngest in his
family, as I am the youngest in mine. His birth date was
April 18th, 1900.

This is my mother & father. All dressed up and looking proud.
This photo was taken in approximately the same place
as the old picture above, in front of the apple orchard
of the original homestead in Rockburn. My father died
in 1987 and a year later the farm was sold, as there was
no one to carry on with farming. My mother today lives in
the village of Ormstown not far from Rockburn.
